Boarding
Covid-19 update to boarding operations:
Our boarding kennel is open and is accepting all dogs. Our hours have changed: Monday – Saturday drop off and pick up hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Closed on Sunday. We are asking that you only bring your dog’s food and medication and nothing else. We provide all of the bedding, bowls and dishes needed for your dog’s stay. We have toys and chews for sale in our shop if you would like to add something else for them. We are working really hard to eliminate any added exposure to Covid for the staff so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We are very much open to new dogs that haven’t stayed with us before, however, we are not offering any tours during this time. Thank you so much.
Our overnight boarding philosophy is to provide a safe, clean and comfortable experience for every dog.
Our boarding facility is staffed by experienced and CPR certified staff and a manager resides on the property. Our kennel is fully climate controlled and each dog has a raised bed with a warm fleece top. The dogs are walked individually out to one of our play yards four times daily, where they get lots of attention and love from our staff.
If you would like a tour of our kennel before your stay, please stop by and we would be happy to show you around. Our tour hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm and on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Please note that we do not offer tours during school vacations or any major holiday when our kennel is fully booked. It is our priority to create a calm and relaxing environment for the dogs in our care, a tour during that time can be disruptive and unsettling for our guests. It is always best to take a tour before your scheduled vacation as opposed to the day of your dog’s arrival.
Important note regarding flea & tick collars: It is important to know that for safety reasons, we remove all collars from each dog that attend services here at K9 Kaos including all flea & tick collars. With that in mind, our staff are exposed to dozens and dozens of flea & tick collars multiple times throughout each day. Since the volume of these collars has grown, we are now asking you to please remove all flea & tick collars from your dog before they arrive at K9 Kaos. In addition to eliminating the chemical exposure for our staff; we also appreciate that these collars are expensive, so it is best that they stay safely at home. K9 Kaos can not be responsible for the loss of any collar, we do our best to not lose anything, but unfortunately it does happen from time to time.

-

This form provides us with general information about your dog and some emergency contact information. The registration form is only required the first time you use a service at K9 Kaos. If you have special instructions that include feeding or medication that should be listed on a separate sheet that you would bring each time your dog boards with us.

Vaccination Certificate from your veterinarian
Rabies, DHLPP and Canine Cough

-
Food
We encourage you to bring your dog’s food from home, dietary changes can cause an upset and we want your dog feeling great while staying at K9 Kaos. We ask that you portion your dog’s meals in individual bags or bring in a hard plastic container with their name on it. Please no 30# bags of dog food as they are hard for us to handle. It is very important to also include some feeding instructions. Instructions can be written on the food container or on a separate piece of paper. Please bring instructions each time your dog comes to stay at K9 Kaos.
-
Medication
Please bring your dog’s medication in a bottle that is clearly marked with all instructions. There is no additional charge for administering medication.
